PVOTD: “Grown Woman” by Beyoncé

The other day, my mom emailed me an article about how Iggy Azalea’s career is over and how she’s racist and homophobic, blah, blah, blah.  My mom was concerned, because I love Iggy (I wrote a blog about it). The article made me laugh a little bit, then I thought of this Beyoncé video.  The song is pretty self explanatory.  The video is INCREDIBLE and one of my favorites of all time.  It features Baby Beyoncé, Beauty Queen Yoncé, and even Amazon Yoncé.  I could, and do, watch it all day.

Point is, everyone is a critic.  Iggy is a racist, Miley is a whore, Meghan Trainor is ruining America.  Haters gonna hate.  Meanwhile, these bitches be like…

PVOTD: “Feel Right” by Mark Ronson feat. Mystikal

God bless Mark Ronson for many reasons.  One of which is bringing Mystikal back.  I bet you didn’t realize how much you missed Mystikal.  I think this song is pretty perfect.  It’s been overshadowed by “Uptown Funk” and yet they still made this phenomenal music video.  My jaw was to the floor the whole time.

Music Video Fail: “One Last Time” by Ariana Grande

Recently, I discovered that I love Ariana Grande’s latest single “One Last Time” and it was my favorite song for like TWO WEEKS.  It’s my favorite song of hers, by far.  There’s no obnoxious falsetto, it’s a beautiful song, and catchy as hell.  Today, as Jimmy and I were having a music video binge, I decided to watch the video for this song.  How exciting!  Nope.  Turns out instead of making a beautiful video to match a heartbreaking song, she chooses to make a pretty awful Cloverfield fan film.  I feel this is a huge miss.  Lame.

Here’s the video if you wanna waste some time:

PVOTD: The Heart Wants What It Wants

Jimmy and I are long-time Selena Gomez Fans.  This SONG.  The fact that I love it even though it’s clearly about Justin Bieber, goes to show how good the song is.  I mean, if I were in a rocky relationship, this would be my JAM.  Also, may I say that while I usually really hate this new trend of doing a dialogue breakdown or intro in the song, Selena Gomez rocked that shit.  Know why?  Because she’s actually a really good actress.  And gurl knows how to cry.
